Puddle Duck Hunts

The Chesapeake Bay and its watershed hold some of the greatest diversity of waterfowl species of any area in the country. On these hunts you will be targeting- Wood Ducks, Mallards, Wigeon, Pintail, Gadwall, Blue Wing and Green wing Teal, Geese, and the renowned American Black Duck. Depending on the time if year will depend on what birds will be in the area at the time. For people looking to check Black Ducks off their species list we will offer trips specifically targeting them. Black Ducks only frequent a few states in the northern Atlantic flyway, and the salt marshes of the eastern shore of Maryland sees some of the highest numbers of Black Ducks in the country. These hunts will be conducted out of boat blinds most of the time due to not wanting to overshoot one area and having the ability to put you in the best location possible for the weather, time of year, and hunting pressure. We can accommodate groups of up to 3 hunters at a time on puddle duck hunts. There may be limited opportunities for larger groups depending on the years migration.
