Nothing beats seeing the sun rise on the Chesapeake Bay and watching thousands upon thousands of sea ducks fly up and down the bay looking for an area to feed. We have large numbers of Common Scoters, Surf Scoters, Old squaw, and on occasion my personal favorite the White Wing Scoter. These birds are tough, once you knock one out of the air the hard part has just begun. These birds can dive to deep depths and hold their breath for several minutes. On these hunts you will have constant action and non stop shooting. We recommend each hunter brings 2-3 boxes of shells for this hunt. These hunts will mainly be conducted out of layout boats but can be done out of a large boat in comfortable chairs upon request. Sea Duck hunting is an experience like no other. Laying in the Chesapeake Bay at water level in a layout boat bobbing up and down in the waves shooting birds and watching the sky turn red in the morning is something that can't be beat.
